Import brands also use music to define vehicles. Lowe & Partners developed a campaign it calls "The State of Independence" to launch the Saab 9-2X. Saab is targeting the premium mid-range car at buyers between the ages of 24 and 35.

The agency recruited an emerging alternative band from Scotland called Franz Ferdinand to provide music for the 9-2X campaign.
